Having been on the road for over 20 years, Trevor took the progressive and natural step to come off the road and oversee the entire operation. The extensive knowledge Trevor possesses has ensured complete functionality, best practice and progressive growth of T&J Haulage. Trevor has the primary role within the operation to provide not only the practical and effective operational backbone to the business, but the insight into building on an already consistent and expanding customer base. In his spare time Trevor enjoys Mountain Biking.
Joined the business in 2001, having had many years of practical and hands-on experience within the grain industry and grain haulage sector. Steve is a major asset to the company and has made a significant contribution towards the expansion of the the business. Steve is first point of contact for our valued and well established customer base and is responsible for the day to day logistical operation of our fleet. Steve’s a keen golfer and a die-hard fan of Chelsea football club
Stephanie is a critical link between the various elements that ensure full compliance, with countless pieces of legislation that must be adhered to. Her responsibility is to ensure that our vehicles are maintained to the very best possible standards and fully roadworthy and that drivers comply with traffic and Drivers’ Hours regulations. Steph also ensures that the benchmarks
for FORS, TASCC and fleet compliance are observed within the business.
Entering the industry as a HGV driver she later qualified as a H.G.V. trainer, fleet assessor and transport manager. In recent years she was shortlisted for female commercial driver of the year. Steph has a keen eye for photography whilst walking her dog, Buddy.
Trained as a skilled H.G.V. fitter and then progressed as a truck driver, Richard came off the road to manage the day to day operational needs of the garage maintenance operation and effectively organise the servicing of all our fleet and trailers. Richard engages with local animal feed companies, to organise servicing of their fleet of vehicles. Richard is a bit of a dab hand at clay pigeon shooting.
Started T&J Haulage in 1985 along with his wife Judy, hence the name T & J. Starting with just one vehicle and expanding over the years, to now becoming one of the North’s well respected and most successful grain hauliers in the country. Ted is now enjoying retirement, but still visits the office on a regular basis. Such a shame Ted doesn’t make us a brew!
